I have been a Pedorthist for the past 30 years. I have run my own company for over 20 years. Over the past 20 years, I have written a few different software programs for different industries.

I bought a Pedorthic practice, just over 3 years and needed a good Patient Management system. I couldn’t find anything in the market that would work for me. Some have great contacts management, some are awesome for note taking, but nothing that would do everything I needed. The biggest need was to have everything at my fingertips while I was running a clinic. Need to write notes, book in follow up appointments, do my billing, as a Pedorthist I also need to order Medical Footwear and track my work list. So I designed my own.

This is now version 3 of my software. A few colleges have asked about using it, so I have come up PorClinicx.

I started with a nice white and bright UI, as most do. Along the way and the movement form, some larger software companies like Apple have moved to a Draker UI. I have taken a leaf from them and came up with a stunning looking UI. Being darker its easier on your eyes and you can focus on what’s important.
